@rgsniper1 If she didn't add her own little personality to it. What would make this over view different then that 20,000 others we've had more months now? Why would I have clicked listening to her tell it?

@vackillers @Busta I don't know man. I take this review as what this one particular person felt about it. I like to watch many reviews from many sites. Even for games i never intend to buy.
They're all bias towards that person's view. There are many jrpg's i like and none of them score over 8's. I still love em though. If i go to a certain site that is in love with that genre, they will undoubtedly be hire.
Like what you like. Be entertained by the reviews. Don't let it decide things for you.
@vackillers @Busta @Buck_Swaggler That is your opinion that it should be taken from a neutral point of view. And that's cool. Is that GS's motto though? Is that this reviewers? You go to a reviewer and a review site that matches up with the perspective you want to hear from. Basically..choosing a type of critique you want to hear.
We fall into the trap as everyone's opinion has to be the same. To validate whether we should spend money and time on this product. When that should not and was never the point of critiques in the first place.
An example is the christian gamers site. They are not reviewing games from the same perspective as everyone else. Nor should all these other game sites be attempting to match the opinions of others.

These articles are not meant to hold up what is factually and objectively accurate to the game. If that were so. No number would need to be attached to them. Soon as you do that, It loses it's objectivity. And no comments could be made of repetitive acts. since it's up to the individual what becomes boring .
@Buck_Swaggler @vackillers No.. because when I play it. I'm not going to pretend it's my first time playing a game of this type. If they did that, folks probably would have loved knack. There is no neutral opinion when it comes to rating "fun" ,"story" , and " replay". There are no standards to measure from.
@vackillers Cause they're opinions. Their opinions aren't meant to match up with yours. They are reviewing from their stand point. someone that plays many videogames. many of whatever type of videogame they're assigned to. Critiques are meant to be from a perspective.
@spectreSE7EN Doesn't meta critic take into account GS's review? We should stop taking these numbers to be an overall indication of how good the game is.
They're opinions. Not Objective analysis. You can't objectively measure fun, graphics, story or replayability. What you really want for them is to group think and all fall in line with a general census.
I'm not a reviewer. and I can tell you how many gamers feel a game or expect a game will be rated. That's not impressive or interesting. We aren't a complicated lot.

I agree not to believe everything you hear a corporation tells you. That goes for internet and it's "feed back" as well. There we people signing the petition for xbox's old drm.
I've seen many console wars. I don't believe all the clamor either. Not to mention this kind of thing is to be expected. Look at the iphone vs google launches on reputable phone sites. It's the same garbage.
