Maybe someday I'll play it. The Japanese in DQ games seems super super easy to understand.

I'm guessing it's intentional, given the series' quirky nature. :P

I have a copy of DQVI for SNES in Japanese. I don't play it because I can't understand any of it, naturally. Just a crazy impulse buy.

I still haven't played my DQ games. How is it better? I own it.

The story of the game is actually more engaging than a few of the other games. Despite the weak translation and limited space for said translation, the whole plot about reviving God and defeating the Demon King is pretty awesome.

That, and the game's vocation system is very fun to work with and can easily break the game in your favor.

And length also plays a part in it. It's 75 hours clocked in and the final boss is still quite a ways off. It never feels padded, and the game world feels large.

Gaming.

Now, it's reading, writing and collecting figures/plushies.

There was something about the Wii U. Nothing to get hyped up over.

I'm going to blog quick and clean on Disney canon and non-canon alike. Shorter, more personal blogs on the films than what I used to do before.

I'll need to sit through the entire line of films for the blogs. Good enough reason to enjoy them again, I suppose. :P

I heard (not saw, mind you) Iwata's bit on Wii U.

From what I could understand, there's a lot of new little features utilizing Nintendo's network thingy. Or something. Nothing amazing as far as I can remember, but I guess it's a nice set up from what Nintendo is currently doing with Wii and even 3DS, I guess.

Also, that skit with the guy and the zombies was painfully bad. Though the bit with the superhero action figure made me chuckle. :P

maybe, just MAYBE mmm is right about not joining us on steam.

Dragon Quest VII
70 hours clocked in, and coming up on the final leg of the game. My first encounter with the final boss is about 4-6 hours away. This game has really been worth the time investment, and I see clearly now why the game is considered so much better than a number of the other installments.

Dragon Quest IX
Collecting ultimate armor and farming orbs needed to upgrade said ultimate equipment. From there, it's finally time to beef up the Legacy Bosses to Lv99.

Dragon Quest VIII
Next up on the list following DQVII's completion.
