If I buy a game and torrent it and five people download it, then 6 people have the game for the price of 1. This isn't fair to the industry. If they can't make a decent enough profit, why continue to make games? They are gaming companies, and their responsibility is to make a profit, just like any company. No profits, no new games, people lose jobs, companies shut down. Don't complain because you can't get something for nothing.
Interesting trailer. I'm intrigued. Was the trailer trying to convey something specific, or is it a catch-all for everything Final Fantasy? I'll admit I don't know enough about the series to notice if there was anything symbolic or not. The only things I recognize are the chocobo bird and those..."short people".
America is not the rest of the world. Strict gun control works for some countries, but not here. I'm not a big fan of our Second Amendment--I think it is overvalued and archaic--but it's there, and I don't think it's going off the parchment any time soon. The problem here is not the broader issue of gun control--it was one guy, who was mentally ill, who made a fateful decision, and people--children--died. He's dead himself, so the real scapegoat has escaped. Now people focus on other things, looking to lay blame. And it has chained from the shooter, to guns, to video games. Next week it will be something else. But it's our problem; we'll handle it. Get off your soap boxes and if this incident really horrifies you, be glad you live across the ocean.
Dunno. I can't see it as being part of the Metal Gear series. Where did people get this idea? Just by the publisher? It could be a new IP. This trailer leaves me saying only "WTF!?"
