@Dilandau88: Less than 2000 on steam right now playing 2042, slightly more than 2000 on steam right now playing bf4. I don't know if it's too little too late for some subset of players but I'll bet for the majority of folks who bought the game it certainly is.

@boobytrap: It would only be useless if people's buying habits differed between physical and digital games, I doubt they differ that much.

BF players would have taken the bugs and lack of polish if the core was good. "some of the design choices in the game did not resonate with players.?" That's an understatement.
