@cornbredx: As someone who has played all of the Mass Effect games on release, Andromeda is fantastic. Not AAA 2017 fantastic, but a great Mass Effect game nonetheless. It's not perfect, but I'm enjoying the hell out of it.

The link at the top of the article should point to Bethesda's website for this game, not to GS's info page.

"No thanks, I'll be the last to know," on the submission form for the newsletter? lol Com'mon GS, that is some passive-aggressive shit that my girlfriend doesn't even pull. Let's try and be a professional company, ye?

@Flyin3lvl: "So, we've been working on this CoD game too long to throw away assets, and BF1 was really successful, so we're just going to try and piggy-back off of that."

More games need a "realistic" setting, where you and your enemies have comparable health and comparable damage. Most harder difficulty settings just increase the hp pool of your enemies while either making them do more damage or giving you less health.

@ragethorn: GS really took a dive after the whole Jeff Gerstmann debacle. I come here for updates and press releases, but the editorial side of things is usually a giant shit show.

@spike6958: I just love how they frame their decision making as righteous. "We're not doing it because it's the right thing to do." Makes me gag and laugh all at the same time. I gotta give them credit for that spin, though. nt

Okay, I know this is really splitting hairs here, so take it with a grain of salt:

Does anybody actually read the first paragraph? Almost every single article on here has 1 or 2 leading paragraphs that is just full of conjecture from the editor. So, now I'm in the habit of skimming until I find the actual information I'm looking for, which devalues every article on here for me.

Beyond that, the DLC looks like it could be fun! I guess we will see when the time comes.

It's just not cost effective anymore. Any publisher can release the tiniest bit of info and it is gobbled up by the masses in mere seconds through news sites and social media. Why spend all the extra money trying to promote awareness when your customers are already hyper aware of your product? Makes sense to me.
