That's awful, but at least he got to reprise his role in the form of Alex Casey in Alan Wake 2 before he passed away and there's a remake in development which contains his voice work as well.

Rest in Peace, James.

Wow, only $108.85?! At first I thought this had to be a typo, but I clicked the link and it's true, you can get P5R Collector's Edition at an unprecedented discount of $11.25! Better act fast because they're sure to sell out quickly at such a steep discount! I thank my lucky stars that GameSpot was here to inform me of this, otherwise I would have missed out on this once in a lifetime opportunity to save a whole eleven dollars and twenty-five cents on Persona 5 Royal Collector's Edition! It's a Christmas Miracle!

Makes sense, honestly... Obviously that was a selling point for a lot of people. They should have just finished it.

Personally, my response would be something along the lines of; "Yeah, well your country invading Ukraine offends me, Communism offends me, and Vladamir Putin offends me too, so I'll remove any offensive content from my game once you've removed everything about your country that offends me. Fair enough?"

Maybe Megan Fox should just respond to criticism in the most trendy way now, by claiming that any/all criticism of her voice acting is motivated by discrimination.

Of course, all he did was send a truck filled with armed men to a building under false pretenses which could have easily resulted in the injury or death of employees, but I'm sure that he did so with only best of intentions in mind. After all, it's not as if this sort of thing resulted in anyone getting hurt before and he did so knowing full well what might come of it in a worst case scenario... e_e

But seriously, it was attempted murder and should have been treated as such from the beginning. The sentence should have been the same as if he had gone to the office himself armed to the teeth but was stopped before anyone got hurt.

Wow, you can really tell that they're ashamed by LotR: Gollum when they've lost all confidence and don't even have it in them to attempt to redeem themselves with a better game.

Oh well, we've got Return to Moria to look forward to. That looks promising.

Oh-boy! I love Alan Wake, but sentiments such as these make me fear that Alan Wake 2 is going to have a barely coherent story with a vague conclusion, which I personally hate.

As a writer, I feel that it's important for stories to be as coherent as possible, and have always felt that vague, inconclusive storytelling is a copout by an untalented writer who is essentially counting on the reader to arrive at their own satisfactory conclusions on an individual level, then praise them for writing such an excellent story which is actually a work of the reader's own imagination.

That being said, I respect that others enjoy that style of writing, I only wish they'd stop giving the writer credit for the amazing story that isn't actually present anywhere in the script, and only exists because the reader themselves filled in the blanks with their own conclusions. If you're going to praise that style of writing, then praise it because it enables the reader to arrive at their own conclusions, essentially tayloring the story to their own individual preferences, not because the writer is a storytelling wizard.

Oh boy, the Steam Discussions Hub is going to become a dumpster fire over this...
