[QUOTE="SaudiFury"] Then you really don't get this country at all. the monarchies in this region have legitimacy and a very long history here. They are not constructs of Western notions of governance turned dictatorships such as Egypt, Syria, Yemen, or Tunisia. Libya is a one man show as well, not destined for long term. but the monarchies, the Saudis, Khalifa's, Al-Sabah, Thani, Al-Nahyan, Al-Maktoum, and the Al-Said. They are all homegrown and supported via patronage for centuries now. To expect an uproot is moot and will go nowhere. There is a lot of loyalty to the Saudi monarchy in Saudi, whether you like it or not. Remember for every bad thing that happens, there are a lot of good things that have occurred as well. standard of living has shot up, modern cities (there were no paved roads when my dad was a kid), modern medicine, education, etc etc. Problem lies with corruption, and rulers who are twice my fathers age (men who rode camels on a daily basis). Give a man gold and he shall praise it , take the gold away and he shall revolt , my dear Friend , Saudi economy and such has gone up due to the fact of the huge amount of oil in Saudi lands , but how ,ay i find Saudi Arabia an in fact non fascist and straight democratic country when a guy just like moamar kazafi in libia rules untill he is 87? you say different families come in rotation , thats just like saying meat in 30 different languages , the people there are obliged to love the king and the monarchy , doesnt the people have a right to choose their leader? Anw a change is a must and i think is pretty soon :) .

I do believe something will happen in the next decade. Though my dad and i agree, that if thousands of women start driving randomly throughout the country. IT's going to take one wrong move by the authorities (looking at the religious police who will likely do it) when someone say will say enough is enough. It may be the spark. and the Saudi monarchy has been very quiet. Also as far as gold and money goes. Saudi didn't really start making the big money until the late 60's. so for just over 40 years the country was basically living off international aid, what it could trade and the money it made from the Hajj pilgrims. However vast majority of Saudis, including myself, cannot imagine Arabia without the Saudi's in it somehow someway. Personally i prefer a constitutional monarchy, ala Britain or even what the Bourgeois of France wanted (Monarchy in control of executive branch, but can also be vetoed - this did not work out). However there are a lot of Saudi's who'd prefer some quasi-democratic Caliphate (ala Iran style, only Sunni)

Skip the small talk bro , yr case is in vein , its your country your proud of it , yr saying what yr told as proofs , just hope back in saudi arabia people will treat people like people :)

@ Saudi Fury

Say what you must , any other guy coming after the "king" will keep on the fascist regime , the double standard and these crazy laws and punishment , the

Saudi regime must be taken from its roots and a new younger more governmental regime must be placed.

I just got me2 on my xbox , I'm a true hardcore rpg/action fan , i enjoyed all the fallout series , the stalker series and heck even borderland , now dont get me wrong the game is beautiful and the story is truly breath taking , Ive finished about 5 missions , but guys i fell like the game is over rated , the fight scenes are mediocre and the leveling up is quite shallow , am i missing some thing , please help me find if this game is worth the 9.0 rating or its rly over rated.
