If Hollywood fails on a Mass Effect movie, I think I may just make headline news by systematically murdering everyone involved (minus possible consultants from BioWare / EA).

I didn't even realize we had gamertags on the original Xbox. You live, you learn.

It should. Save for the need of a hard drive, all Xbox 360s have the same innards - only that they have been streamlined to be more efficient over the years.

Am I missing something here? Nowhere in that quote does he say that Gears of War 3's multiplayer is going to be arcadey. He says that that's just how the fanbase has always played it.

Yeah, he never said anything about Gears becoming arcadey. Just that players always treated it that way.

I concur... can't find anything on Cliff confirming a change in Gears' multiplayer pace. And Counter-Strike "realistic"? Nope!

Final Fantasy XI and Phantasy Star Universe both came out for the 360. While I have not tried them out myself, they don't seem to have the following developers and publishers look for in an MMO... mainly: players. That's not to say I'm not holding out for an MMO for the 360. And who's to say a business model like Guild Wars (PC) wouldn't work on the 360? I'm sure some of the Xbox LIVE Gold subscription money could go to funding some servers.

Resident Evil 5 without hesitation. The game has much longer legs than Silent Hill: Homecoming and as Darkslayer16 said, you can probably find it in the bargain bin.

StarFire571
To be honest, don't get Mass Effect 2 before you are able to finish the first. It ruins the experience.

I haven't had the problems you've had. But whenever I'm in a group, I seem to lose a friend or two when jumping into a lobby. Pretty damn annoying when you finally run into a map you actually want to play on...

Amazon has excellent service in my area. Two or three days at the most. Of course, I should be thanking UPS and USPS for their hand in delivering the goods.

My Heavy Rain ending was awesome - the equivalent of a solid suspense film with a happy ending. Metal Gear Solid 3 was also amazing. It is my experience that games with memorable end-game battles or sequences have more satisfying endings. I love the series to death, but Mass Effect games have the worst endings. The first one had one hell of a dull ending. If anything, I felt like the game was just starting to take off, but then I was rewarded for my efforts in the game with a head-shaking end screen with my Shepard standing proud and awful music. The second game wasn't nearly as bad... but it teases the utter crap out of you and wants you to fund BioWare to finish Mass Effect 3, a-sap!
