@Pokemon18986 @Dissentioncc Please shut up. Accept it, everything Microsoft tried to sell us was a bag of shit and consumers didn't fall for it. You wanna know what the "cloud" would have really done for gaming: nothing much. And let's not get into the whole used games debate because every single publisher that supported Microsoft has hightailed it and back off their stance because they know that shit ain't no where near true.

@Pokemon18986 @slipknotmaggot1 Are you trying to say Xbox created online play for consoles? Because you'd be sorely mistaken.

@Pokemon18986 @Crucio9199 No. Microsoft offered us restrictions so we showed them where to shove those restrictions.

@paladin1459 Is that why even though nothing has changed in terms of how we lend, share, trade, sell and give away our games the price still keeps going up? Is that why even though we can't do any of those things with our digitally bought games they're still $59.99? Spouting "we never owned games" is bulls*** when Sony and Nintendo, two companies who have been in the game far longer than Microsoft both say we OWN our games? F*** outta here. I'm tired of being nice to you idiots who spout bulls*** because M$ and EA tell you it's real. I'd like to see you go and sue, on the behave of M$ and EA, every gamer who's ever sold their game or lent it out and tell me how that works out for you.

@AvrgInt I don't honestly even think all the people who are "multiplayer" gamers will support the system. The online checks and not owning the games is a big problem for almost everyone. Even the people who love the pultiplayer experience. Plus I'm sure Sony's online will be a lot better next go around.

@Madjik2k2 What Microsoft is failing to get that I think Sony is getting correct is that like you said we choose what is considered next gen. We just want to play good games. It doesn't always matter how the games look. We want something that's going to give us a unique experience. Sony has yet to come out and tell us what's next gen. They've just come to us and said we have a new console and we're making new games and new experiences with it. Instead of telling us that "immersion" and "connectivity" is next gen just make unique games. Eventually, if all games become "connected" people will get tired of them because it's nothing different.

@GOGOHeadray @Blalex123 Yeah, your disc based game. They said up to 10 family members (and then they said friends, they don't have to be blood) can access your games from you account. The only way to make my scenario not real is if they put some kind of limit on the accessing your account. They could make it a time limit or a number of times limit. Either way their system is more of a hassle than a help.

I can explain why M$'s new system would be worse than our current system. Let's look at the things Microsoft has come out and said.
~Microsoft says their DRM is to curb used games sales
~Microsoft says used games sales are "potential" loss of sales
~Microsoft says up to 10 people can access your entire game library through your account.

If M$ is trying to use these measures to curb used games sales then it makes no sense whatsoever. Used games equal up to maybe 2-4 (one game isn't sold more than 2-4 times) "potential" lost sales per game. With M$'s new system of sharing your entire game library with up to 10 friends that is now up to 10 "potential" lost sales because once one person buys a game those 10 people don't have to buy it anymore but still get to play it for free off their friends account.

With the new system the "potential" loss of sales goes 2-4 to up to 10. Their new system is crap.

@Kashmiro But when people know they can get a comparable experience on the PS4, the difference between the two's stances on policy's will be the driving point.

@CaveManCobb I'm almost 21 and grew up on Pokemon since I was 7. Still have every one to this day.
