I borrowed a copy of Vista from my buddy and installed it. It locked up about 8 times in two days. I think it had something to do with the mouse/keyboard drivers. I installed the newest Intellipoint/Intellimouse drivers, and everything started to get better. Funny how it locked up and the OS never noticed or warned about anything. I guess they can say that Vista will have fewer BSOD than Win XP if it locks and never shows it. Then Vista ended up corrupting files on my hard-drive a few days later. I finally found the driver I needed after searching a couple weeks. I felt like a Beta tester when messing with this thing. Sure it looks cool, but anyone can slap a coat of paint on a pile of dog-sh*t. It's cool, but underneath it's still a POS.

No one seems to mention Trusted Computing, previously known as Palladium. This is the software that gives Microsoft among others... ability to decide what is authorized to run on your system. Forget about running crack progz or Warez versions or even recording TV shows in HD. The "man" is going to shut you down. They have a right to say what is on your computer now, not you... After 5 years, I wonder what the next version of Microsoft will take to run? A DNA sample?.........

How is DNF going to look with DX10? Will it be ready, or should we wait until DX12?
