I read your post (topic starter), and I said to myself, "He hasn't played COD4, Halo 3, Vegas, or much of anything else." When you can compare the games in a research paper let me know, and I'll read it and see for myself.
I don't want to be the downer of the thread, but my XBox broke earlier today. I ordered the box for it and everything. Then, I said,"Hey, what the hell. I'll plug it back in and see if it works." What do you know? My Xbox came back to life. It was like watching one of those medical shows where the person dies for a few minutes and then comes back to life. I was so relieved. At least I'll have a box incase it breaks again.
Don't worry man, you'll get a refurb. And as far as not affording repair... it's free.
Got the Red Ring of Death today. Called up Microsoft, I'm sending it back. Anyway, my buddy's broke a few months ago, and they gave him a voucher for the price he bought the 360 for. So, will I get a repaired one or a voucher? I hope I get the voucher, because I want an Elite console.
