I've got a Guitar Hero 3 set with a mono disc, and while I enjoy the game, I'm leary of returning it amidst scattered reports online of lost discs and a lengthy turnaround. I noticed that they list return for refund as an option, and they don't appear to require a receipt (I have no idea where it is). At this point, I'm planning on buying a newer copy of the game and returning this one for refund.
Anyone know of any problems with that? I've still got everything that came in the box. The only things I might see as potential problems are the missing receipt and a few signatures on the guitar.
I do plan to call Activision with questions tomorrow, but thought I'd ask online as well. Anyone have any firsthand experience with a GH3 return?

lol, no I got GH3 for PS2. But really, whats the chances of them losing the disc? I say buy a new one and replace it with your old one.
We'll see if it's "garbage" when it's out. However, this is a graphics thread and nobody can deny that the Conduit is pushing the Wii's capabilities graphically.
I wont say pushing, Im sure it can be better, its just better than the ordinary on Wii.

I hope not... I don't think it will though, Everyone that has demo'd the game has raved about it...article after article. Obviously it needs a few "spice up's" but, I think it will turn out quite nice.
Yeah, I have been researching this game and I am impressed, but it just looks like those games that fail badly, you know the ones that everyone hypes up and turns out to be dookie *cough* HAZE *cough* *cough* DARK SECTOR *cough*... got something in my throat.
