The Republic of China aka "Taiwan" or "Chinese Taipei"

Mr_Manikin52

The only official name is the Republic of China, Taiwan is a common name for it. Chinese Taipei is usually the name ROC unwillingly uses to participate in international organizations.

I want to get a set of headphones primarily for listening to music, watching videos (youtube/movies) and occasional gaming. I also don't mind earphones. My budget is less or equal to $100 (but I can be a little flexible), so what do you recommend?

I should also mention that my purchase is for use on the computer, not a portable audio device.

University of Toronto is one of my top choices, it is ranked 29.EVOLV3

Currently 2nd year at UofT.

I'm first year U of T as well. I'm actually a bit upset that it is only 29 or whatever it is. How did McGill beat us!? Last time I checked we were 25 in the world and first in Canada.cheeselover

McGill and UofT are usually #1 and #2 in the country, but recently it's been McGill. Not to mention TWO of their alumus have just been co-awarded Nobel Prizes in medicine and physics. Also THE - QS World University Rankings base a large part (40%) of their rankings on "Peer Review Score" aka reputation, which is subjective.

The pool of responses is heavily weighted in favour of academic 'peers' from nations where the Times is well-known, such as the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and so on.Results have been highly volatile. There have been many sharp rises and falls, especially in the second half of the THES top200 where small differences in metrics can generate large rankings effects. Fudan in China has oscillated between 72 and 195, RMIT in Australia between 55 and 146. In the US, Emory has risen from 173 to 56 and Purdue fell from 59 to 127.

2nd year (should be third, but I transferred universities once and redid first year). I hate it, and hopefully I can tough it out and get my degree.

Did you let the Adobe update manager update it to 9.3.1 or .3 or something like that? I have it on Win7 x64 and it works fine.xXDrPainXx
I dont think there's a version 9.3.1, can you check the version again?

Anyone else have a problem where the Adobe Reader fails to open a web linked PDF document a while after the installation? I can still open PDFs on my computer fine, but all the ones that are linked online can't be opened. I get this blank pop-up error message with a "?" in a circle in it.
