I had purchased this for a computer I built approximately three weeks ago. There may be my review posted already on that and I have yet to contact the company about the issue, but early this monring (8/3) at about 5 there was a loud bang and I looked to see that my computer had turned off. First thing I had thought was that someone had set off a firecracker on my desk, but than I went over to inspect and there was no power in the system. Looking at the back of the computer I also noticed that there was a busted component inside just a small ways.

The small green cylinder tucked back in has appeared to have shreded its shielding.

At the time I had never overclocked nor got close to using the full ammount of power output of the unti and it ran perfectly for the three weeks that it wasn't, well, exploded. I only activated the unit and booted the computer when playing a game, usually S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky or Crysis to get the immensely beautiful experience to its fullest, and would completely shut down the entire unit after this. As far as I know, there was no power surge as the computer I am currently typing on is on the same circuit as well as the other dvices linked with the computer didn't experience any troubles of their own.

Does anyone know what the issue may have been and what the possible destruction is on my rig? Right now I lack the money to replace the entire thing and I doubt could get warrenty on all of them if that were the case.

If more information is required, I will be willing to give it.

[QUOTE="Atillite"]recently I have had problems with my profile, and viewing other's. The right side of the rofile from the vitals (also in the about me and stats sub sections) section the the Xbox gamercard section is nearly entirely covered by a grey blob. All of the links and emblems and other assorted stuff in this blob are pushed to the far left leaving (at best) one letter for a link or the shaving of an embelm. In fact the space is so small I cannot even post a new blog. The only thing that extends int the grey is the leveling meter. This problem may only be appearing to me on my computer, but trying again on another IMac I had the same problem. This has happened ever since my last blog and it is really starting to bug me, as I origonally figured it to be a small glitch but so far there has been no visiable process on removing this grey blob. I would highly appreicate some work on removing this blob.

please respond in a pm

I'm sorry I don't have the time to reply in a PM. Try clearing your cookies and cache. Also does this happen only on your profile?

sorry for a late response. On page 22 I descriebed it a little more in depth and how it has evovled into another beast unto itself. Anyways after speaking with a friend of mine who also uses a mac (mini mac compared to my ibooks or wahtever they are called) who had the same problem over the same time span. Appaerntly there is some glitch with gamespot with macs (quicktime luckily fixed how gamespot only broadcasts in windows media player format which always bugged me, and the spacing problems are easily averted) but now it onlycovers gamercards.

and yes this is on all profiles I view. I thought I put that somewhere in there....?
