The font is fine. WIth that meme on this page..the top font is closer to the original Final Fantasy Font, and the bottom is closer to the newer final fantasy fonts. Either way works for me, being an old school Final fantasy player.

So, I wonder when they'll listen to the community and remove Apocalypse completely from the map lists? Every lobby I've ever been in, that map as been unanimously voted against.

@PrpleTrtleBuBum: As someone who grew up on alternate universe stories, I for one enjoy this Remake of FF7. There's JUST enough difference to make the same story intriguing once again, and enough of the old stuff for nostalgia's sake. I knew from the start before buying that this game was gonna be different from the first. And like I said, I grew up with alternate universe stories for many things. Sliders for instance was "same earth, different events...from major to minor." So that's what I treat this game as. Because of that, this game is waay fun. I'll never stop loving the original though.

Well, you do technically realise that even the zomibies were created by a virus. They're still just as much a muntant and monster as the actual mutants and monsters. I mean...they had Hunters in the original Resident Evil, as well as Giant Spiders and a frigging SHARK as well as a huge and living PLANT. Lets not forget the TYRANT (and I'm not talking about resident evil:REmake. I mean the original PS1 game.) So yeah, the game series started with zombies but had other virus induced experiments as well. So RE4 taking a new path considering their Virus research was being investigated/halted due to the efforts of Chris,Jill, Barry, Leon, and Claire is to be expected. At the point of RE4, the parasite just really got out of their control...which technically led to RE5. Then RE6 had a mixture of virus and parasite stories to show Umbrella still trying to do what it does. RE7 was good. A new virus that, while it didn't turn things to zombies, created a creature that gave off spores that caused hallucinations and mutations. This next one SEEMS to be dealing with pheremonesthat'll do the same. At least that's what I get out of the Vamp Lady's image. lol.

I don't know about "virtually unplayable." Sure, there are bugs, but I'm having no problems with the game so far with what few I've seen on my own.. including a few crashes to dashboard. I'm quite enjoying the game, and know that with time, the game will only get better.

Think I'll just watch the original movie miniseries. The guy who played Nick Andros in that movie did one hell of a job.

Got mine on Xbox One X. Not having any terrible issues with it. Even if I did, I'll not ever ask for a refund. It's good enough for me to play...and their fixes will only make it better.
