I personally like the gamer score, but I do not let it limit me to quality. I will not play a game I do not like just for a score that means nothing in reality (with all the people boasting and playing easy games to get the points.) I play my PS3, Wii and 360 all for fun. If a game comes out on the PS3 and the 360 and there both equal in quality I will go for the one that will give me the best bang for my buck. If that means that the gamer score is the only added difference Ill go with the 360. But if a game is going to play better on another system I will go with that. What it boils down for me is the best quality game for my money, nothing influence my decision other than quality.

I do personally think that is how future games will be, not sure if it will be in the next consoles that are going to come out or the ones after that. Personally I think that DVD and CD are on there way out. Look at how MP3 players are taking over CD. It will be the same for movies and games. I know that people have opposed my theory by stating about copy protection and the fact that you can not carry the games with you. Those are simple remedies, but I do think it is the way of the near future. The Blue Ray and HD-DVD war is going to end in about a year and half and that format will probably last an additional year or two. MS is going to push digital distribution hard after the HD-DVD fails ( I personally think it will and I personally think MS knows it will, I hope it doesn't because I do have a player, but I have both players now so now worries.) But MS will push it hard, there seeing success with the Market place already with TV shows and DVD rental. Games are coming soon!

I was shooting for the Soapbox with this blogabout downloading Xbox games via Live, but didn't make it.

I'd still like to know what peoples opinions are on the subject. If you don't want to read the blog, how much would you pay to download these games? How much of an issue is space? I'd be keen to download Halo and Halo 2 before the final instalment comes in September. Maybe the subject has been covered some time ago, if it has, I'd be happy to be educated.

I think it would be cool and I think it can happen, but the thing is that MS would charge to much money for these games, I mean there already charging to much for some of the Arcade games and DLC. You can go buy the Xbox games from a store for cheaper than MS would charge.

I never played it, just the Demo, but I figured I could pass on some info, on wither Best buy or Blockbuster in this weeks ads I saw it for $39.99. I might have been Gamestop to. check those three stores advertisements and you will see it on one of those sites.

Time to start putting the nail on the HD DVD coffin. Well it was a good fight. Imagine MS coming out with a Blu Ray player add on for the 360? :) ahhahahahah.... that would be funny.feryl06

They already said that if blue ray was the format of choice then they would develop a ad on player.

I have to agree if you have a premium and want the 120g HDD you should sell your premium and get the Elite. It would be cheaper that way for you and you will get a better built system. I had the premium and bought the 120g HDD and I had only like 600MB left on it. I transferred all my data no problem from the 20G HDD to the 120G HDD. But then I sold my 360 with the 120G HDD to my friend and picked up my Elite, I tried to transfer from a 120G HDD to a 120G HDD it would not do it.

Well I have both, I haven't played GRAW 2 yet, but I will say that I really did enjoy playing Vegas though. I would say pick up Vegas and later you can pick up Graw 2. Both I would say are must haves, but go with Vegas now.
