That is two different arguments. If you want to argue people should be upset because they game was broken, okay. That is a valid complaint. However, that is not what most here are arguing. They are whining about online only. Something they knew existed and still bought the game.
In 2013 games are online. If you cannot come to grips with that then do not buy the game. Simple choice to make really. No one was tricked by Sim city being online only. It was known months in advance. So who is at fault for that? Ya, the 1.3+ million who bought it and I was not one of them.
They made a game that everyone and their mother knew ahead of time was going to be online. People bought the game and now complain because the game is online.
The comments in this thread provide an exhibition for the death of original thought. 100+ people parroting the same thing over and over. I can only assume that none of you play MMORPGs to think a couple hours downtime matters or that always online gaming is inherently evil.
No one said you had to "cry for every dumb ass out there." Does that mean you have to make insensitive comments about them? Nope, you choose to be an ass.
