I, a literal 6-day creationist have to admit when I'm beaten. I've stumbled upon irrifutable proof evolution is true. Here it is:
Then stumbled upon something interesting:
My research was troubling me by now but I plowed thru:
But now I was stumped. What do I do? In order for evolution to be true there had to be transitional forms. Then I went into Kentucky Fried Chicken one day and found the proof I needed:
By now it was all coming together. My creationist hopes were dwindling:
There it is! My years of tiresome, tedious research. The literal, 6-day creationist view proven wrong by one of there own. I'm heartbroken. I cannot deny the facts. Sadly, I think this is better than any of the evidence evolutionary theory has put out there.

buddy, i think we can all agree the evolution happened
I backpacked 80 miles in about a week on the Pennsylvania Appalachian and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life but I had set my sites way too high ( I wanted to do 230 miles). My recommendation would be to not go out on your first trip and expect to go a ridiculous distance all by yourself, especially if the terrain is going to be rough. Try and go out on a few weekend or week long trips before you try to do a long distance hike. That's my plan at least. Backpacking is seriously one of the best things I've ever done, though. You are really in a different world. You don't hear any news from the outside world for days at a time and you can get A LOT off your mind. I know my opinion is pretty much irrelevant because I've never been to Europe, but I hope you go for it, just prepare in advance and get some experience under your belt.xXBuffJeffXx
that's still pretty sick, I want to do the appalachian someday
omg your such a dumbass, espically with a name g-unit and calling htis band crap? omfg you are the worst and dumbest music "fan" I have ever seen, you don't deserve to have ears.[QUOTE="JRoss17"][QUOTE="g-unit248"]not reading that entire thing this early in the morning... especially for a crap bandApathetic_Prick
and as for slipknot, I am a big fan and they are a great band, whether people like them or not, They have no musical sense if they say that they suck, because they don't.
To say that someone who thinks slipknot sucks has no musical sense is to say that someone who thinks michael jackson didn't do it has moral sense.
As a person who listens to more than just metal, what I have to say about Slipknot is this. Slayer played in teh 80's. Slipknot ripped off their soudn in the 90's. And then dropped it. I hate - absolutely hate - slayer. Their singer sucks and King is given far more credit than he's due. Skolnick from Testament has far more skill.
In regards to drumming...There's a band called Helloween, and one of their re-releases (I think it was Better Than Raw) came with a song called Moshi-Moshi Shiki No Uta (sp?). It has one of the coolest drum solo intros ever. Slipknot could never dream of aspiring to that. To say that a dislike of slipknot demonstrates lack of musical tastes tells me that you've never heard of bands like Dire Straits, Cream, Queen or Pink Floyd. Or, if you have, you've never listened to them. It shows that your knowledge of metal (and music in general; those other bands that I just mentioned aren't metal bands) and exposure to all it has to offer is minimal. Metal started with Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Motorhead. It will probably end with the latest incarnations of those three.
If you want something that borders on rock, Rammstein's a better choice. At least it's in a foreign language (and the translations are hilarious if you understand the context). Hell, even Static X is better.
Also, good music in metal isn't just about speed. It's about melody and consistency. It's not just about 9 guys pretending to understand your woes (which you don't actually have, you just think you do because they tell you that they do), it's about social criticism and standing by what you believe in. Slipknot never caught on with me as something genuine, and neither did other nu-metal bands like Korn because of that. To me it sounded like they were trying to pertuate the problem, not solve it.
Maybe i'm just too conservative, but then again, I've also had the luxury to listen to all sorts of music genres and artists, moreso than most people because my parents are music lovers. And while my music is metal (despite the fact that I actually love jazz, folk, blues rock and fusions of them), I will never, ever allow a slipknot album to enter my collection. Sure, it's popular, but it's mediocre - and not just because the music industry pushes it.
BRAVO!
