This year has seen some of the best racing game to date. From the crazy 'rocket' powered rigs of Colin Mcrae's Dirt (I'm English) to the rain soaked tracks of PGR 4, it has be one amazing year for the racing game. Now, with Burnout Paradise seemingly pushed back over to 2008, there is only one more to get our teeth into before we can make our final decision. So, as we wait patiently for Need for Speed: Pro Street's Demo to be released, lets take a moment to reflect and work out this year's best racing game.

Great and knowledgeable people of the Gamespot forum, please help me with my problem:

I wish to record the (for lack of a better term) gameplay off the 360. I have minor knowlege in this area and help would be much appreciated. I have a Dell Ultrasharp 2007WFP   20.1 inch widescreen monitor (1680×1050 widescreen.) It has    DVI-D (which I use as my PC output,) VGA (which I use as my 360 output,) S-Video and Composite. Now the problem is i don't know where to start. For any extra infromation, you only need ask.

Thanks for the help people, Ark

People, have you heared about this:

Quote from Wikipedia:

'Near the end of March 2007, the Xbox 360 Elite was revealed by the tech site Engadget. It was said to have black aesthetics, come with an HDMI port and cable, and a 120GB HDD (also sold separately for 'less than $200' for those who already own an Xbox 360), for a price of US$479. It was also suggested that a white version of the 'Elite' package will be sold, once the limited run of black versions have sold out, for the ordinary 'Premium' price of $399. They were also said to run cooler than current models, possibly because of a movement to new 65nm chips. The Xbox 360 Elite will not have an internal HD DVD player or Wi-Fi features.[67] This version of the console was previously known under the codename Zephyr, and has currently not been confirmed by Microsoft.'

Quote from engadget.com (http://driving.engadget.com/2007/03/20/xbox-360-elite-new-black-limited-edition-xbox-with-hdmi-and-120gb-drive/):

We've confirmed with trusted sources that the black Xbox 360 is indeed coming (the image above is of the original 360 dev kit, FYI), and will be dubbed the Xbox 360 Elite. Here's what you need to know about it:

  • The Elite will be limited quantities only; that may be as much or as little as a couple hundred thousand.
  • The case, controller, and Live headset will all be black. It will have all new packaging.
  • Elite will cost $479, and will be a 3rd SKU; it will be sold alongside Premium and Core packs.
  • Eventually Elite hardware (in white plastics) will take the role of the Xbox Premium. That is to say, after the Elite is launched and sold out, future Xbox Premiums will have 120GB / HDMI.
  • We do not yet know exactly when 120GB / HDMI will become the standard for Premium, but it is loosely estimated to be late summer or fall.
  • Elite models run cooler than normal 360s, but they are not yet confirmed to have 65nm chips.
  • Prices may remain the same with the 120GB / HDMI hardware upgrade in the Premium Xbox, but we may still see a price cut on the line when 65nm chips start shipping.
  • The HD DVD drive will not be internal or bundled -- Microsoft never did or nor does not currently have plans to put an HD DVD drive in the 360.
  • There are no current plans to integrate WiFi into the Elite or future Premiums (although that can always change).

Sounds like a Apirl fools to me. The date the article was posted was the 20th march. Gamespot and others would have caught on by now if this was real. What do you think?
