@rahmie0789 except that the 360 has been known, to, you know....just randomly die. i wouldnt mind the non backwards compatability if i didnt have to fear the RRoD
@Forcecaster @Argle what? you dont need to talk to developers to figure out certain features of ur console (along with certain comments) are pissing people off.

so basically he would visit his grandma and have to explain that he helped design this game some murderer liked to play, with the game now being pinned as a large part of the cause of said violence. im guessing his grandma likes to watch Fox News....'nuff said.
though i will give him credit for advocating variety and stepping away from the sequel/rehash process.
dunno about the rest of you, but im more hungry for a really good new IP, and for publishers to stop trying to milk every last penny out of every last gamer and game. stop milking the old and tired cows, and breed a new herd.
my prediction for new games at launch:
next battlefield, next CoD, next AC, Diablo 3, and a new IP or two.......meh

when they say variety, they mean different gameplay mechanics, an engaging story that sets itself apart, likable characters. i cant believe your boiling a game like Bioshock down to "heterosexual white man killing people. COD junk".
on topic, i would have much rather seen a second strategy XCOM. XCOM FPS has me going 'meh'
