The nice thing is that Revenant wings has more character develepmont than this. Though the game play is average.

Personally, I liked them all. And while the main story in the tactics advanced is pathetic (In the first it's spam charm and in the second spam ultima though their are other broken strategies) some of the optional battles can be disgustingly hard. Not because of difficult enemies, but because of those damned laws. To fight enemies around 40 levels higher than myself, while they start in far better locations and then being penalised for having less than 100 hundred life any character. Especially when the way it chooses to penalise me is to take away my ability to revive (The example comes from the second game). And although from a gameplay standpoint Final Fantasy Tactics advance is likely the weakest, I enjoyed playing as Marche.

The first could be seen as the best for me for many reasons, one of the most important is that Ramza is actually a good character, rather than a hyped up unique sprite. Incidentally, for the most part the first game was what I found easiest as I unlocked the Dark Knight in chapter two, by which point I could one shot almost any enemy.

Also,Learning from weapons is a system I dislike at times.

Freya, Cid was okay. Kain just wasn't very fun, and Kimahri was average.

JW, I am too but I have limited experience with the old original titles, for the nes, snes, genesis, etc. I got to the franchise around the ps2 era, played mostly the GBA titles, SotN of course, and just bought Order of Ecclesia for the DS(the other 2 DS Castlevania games have this anime style that I dont think fits the series, though I might end up getting Dawn of Sorrow since AoS was one of my favourite GBA titles).Fenian_lostsoul

Yeah, late reply. Could you tell me what JW means?

In what game? Goblins in some of the tactics games are capable of killing quite easily, on Tactics Avance 2 an entire team of Illusionit could be killed by a team of goblins easily. This being thanks to their spells being so expensive, their frailty and goblins magic hammer.

So could you list their stats and abilities? These are two characters whose abilities vary greatly. Lulu has far greater potential than Vivi thanks to the sphere grid.

Until I have a greater understanding of their abilities I will just take it as a fight between my Vivi and my Lulu, in which cas Vivi wins.
