Who makes the best thief?

For me it's still Edge. It would have been better if he took Vaan's place on that list.

Well he sure didn't impress me much with his 'moves' on Dagger. XD

I think Locke plays the 'thief' the best, but I think I'd vote for Zidane. The 'thief' class usually ends up having them acting as secondary characters. Like the comic relief, jokers, whatever you choose. Zidane wasn't like that though, he was a thief and a bit of a jokester, but still the leading man, as Balthier would say. So my vote goes to Zidane.

Speaking of Balthier, lets just replace him with Vaan. He was better at it than Vaan, and Balthier was a Sky Pirate. =p

Zidane definately for the win. He even has some thief background history.

Locke is a thief... He just wants to be called treasure hunter 'coz being called a thief or a robber doesn't sound good at all.

Anyway, Locke is my favorite stealer in FF games.

He also had a skill set containing superior thieving skills in Final Fantasy Tactics:War of the lions.
