I dont think you understand that the word 'useful' can apply to being entertained as well. Otherwise, video games, movies and other things of the sort are equally 'useless' and have NO worth, as you say.

The point is that just because you wouldn't enjoy something like an avatar pet doesn't mean other people wouldn't. And if they do enjoy it, then its not a waste at all. Quit thinking that everybody is exactly like you.

Perfectly put. I gotta admit, the siamese cat is cool!

I have! I remember playing this before GTA became what it is today. You can actually download the PC version for free from Rockstar's "Classics" website. Google it.

If you took it apart, I'm pretty sure you're screwed on the warranty.

I like it better dark. I do believe it should be made an optional choice, though.

[QUOTE="Aravix"]

[QUOTE="linktheworld"]Then I put in a CD just to make sure and it worked, and it worked great.TheCrazed420

So, if you figure out it's not a setting on the TV, and you use that cable cracking method, you're for sure good to go.

JSYK, I have my 360 hooked up this way. It's worked absolutely fine since I've had it. (about 8 months). I could provide a video, but it would take a bit. It will work though!

Not if its just a setting thats incorrect. If thats the case, hell break that cable, and hell still be without audio.

The cable he's going to be breaking WILL provide the audio. It's not even breaking the cable, it's cable's bulky casing that's over it. He has a HDMI cable for sound and picture on his tv, so, he will use the component/av cable's red and white cables to hook up to his surround sound.

This was only a suggestion... it works though, and will work for your setup.

You pretty much confirmed it when you said you took out the HDMI cable and got no picture, then put in the component/av cable in (that was hooked up to your surround sound) and got sound out of it. So, now you need both the HDMI cable, and the component/av cable hooked up at the same time.
