@videogameninja:

I still have some SNES carts lying around, but the fact remains that HDTVs will no longer be coming out with composite connections, so this would've been a nice way to play some of those said games without getting a pricey upscaler and just connecting to the HDMI connection on the TV.

With Nintendo pulling this crap, though, I may just get a Retron5 (which has HDMI out) and Nintendo can go screw themselves.

@Mogan: I won't spoil anything, but read the The Corroded Man novel.
There's a clear explanation as to how that is possible.

@livedreamplay:
Agreed.
The best level, for me, is A Crack In The Slab.
Not only do you no use powers, but what you do in the past affects the present, and Arkane pulled it off pretty well.
I love time paradoxes, and that level does it so well.

@GunEye:

Yes, I'm serious.
As a Solid Snake fan, it felt like a spit in the face the way that Hideo Kojima treated the character.

Sorry, but a heroic character losing the girl he loves to another guy (Johnny, the constipated / sh!tting joke character in MGS1 and MGS2, mind you), then dying from a crippling disease, and finally going through rapid aging to the point where he wants to blow his brains out isn't exactly the "heroic" ending that Solid Snake deserves.
At least not after 17 straight years of being the face of the franchise, from 1987 to 2004.
Big Boss got a better ending in MGS4 than Solid Snake did, and Solid Snake was the main protagonist of the game.

This is how Kojima treats the hero who took down Venom Snake in MG2, prevented the nuclear attacks that were being planned at Shadow Moses (MGS1) and went after Ocelot to put an end to The Patriots (MGS2 and MGS4)?
No, thank you.

Anyways, as I said before: "after 3 / Peace Walker it went down hill, for me."
Meaning, that's my opinion on the matter, as I've explained why I didn't care for MGS4 as much: If you like MGS4, fine, but out of all the MGS games I dislike it the most.
Again, that's MY opinion, and I'm allowed to have it, whether you like it or not.

Been a Metal Gear and MGS super-fan since the NES days, but I didn't care for 4 and 5 as much as I did for the other games.
For me, from the SOLID games it would be: MGS 1>MGS 3>MGS 2>MGS: PW>MGS 5> MGS 4

Dishonored was my personal 2012 GOTY, and by the looks of it Dishonored 2 will once again be my personal 2016 GOTY.

Love the MGS series, but after 3 / Peace Walker it went down hill, for me.

This just makes me wish that Dishonored 2 was out today, instead of waiting another 18 days.

@Mogan:
Yup.
More non-lethal options, as well.
Either way, if they have improved upon the DLC of the first game (which it looks like they have) then Dishonored 2 being more of an improved Dishonored isn't a bad thing, imo.

Dishonored has yet to disappoint me.

In fact, quite the opposite.

With the DLC for the first game (Knife Of Dunwall & The Brigmore Witches) they improved a lot on what some people wanted to see in the main game, and the sequel looks like it's further improving on the formula with more non-lethal options (regarding weapons, takedowns and powers), the fact that you can use the Heart to kill the terrible people which are worth less chaos, and the different themes to each mission like the Dust District, Clockwork Mansion and Crack In The Slab missions.

I was hyped as hell for the first game, but I'm even more hyped for the sequel.

Less than a month away.

Can't wait.

Stealthy. :)
The way that I prefer to play Dishonored.
I'll do High Chaos for the trophy, but I usually play in Low Chaos or a mix of "Oh, crap, I got caught so that guard must die."
