Clicked on this because I saw the Dragon's Dogma news and got excited.

Next time Jess, just kick me in the testicles as hard as you can until you break something. At least I could get treatment for that, there's no cure for a broken heart.

@Dredcrumb9 Gotta agree with the Franklin feeling tacked on. That feeling hit me like a freight train during (SPOILERS) ending C when the greatest adversary they could find for Franklin was that Stretch guy he met once near the start of the game.

That terrible Walking Dead game lost it's points for being risky when Activision got the actors from the show to assure us that it wasn't a pile of ass... and also for shoehorning one of them into their biggest franchise for good measure.

Four guys Danny? Jesus Christ!

Granted your reaction was petty and spiteful, but her ability to act out in a selfish manner without taking the consequences into consideration and then making you out to be the guilty party would actually make her a very good spokesperson for the angry internet masses.

@FoOlZ_ @yearssomuch True... I enjoy Feedbackula, but the GTA V episode was most definitely a step in the wrong direction. I read through a vast portion of the comments on the review and laughed at some of the outrageous and ill informed conspiracy theories about Gamespot giving games bad scores as a publicity stunt and what-not, but I thought that there was no way in Hell they'd actually feature any of the personal attacks on Carolyn because it'd just be giving them what they want.

Giving them recognition for what they set out to do is never a good idea.

Easy Fix: Use the garage system from Saints Row.

Having 50 vehicles to choose from stored in a garage built for one car may not be realistic, but it's much more convenient than having your $1,200,000 pseudo-Veyron disappear for no damn reason.

Can video games teach you how to use a legally obtainable implement to do exactly what it's designed for?

The design of modern firearms is so simple that you have hundreds of African Warlords teaching children how to operate them without the aid of video games. In fact, gimme five minutes with an AK or an AR-15 and I'd be pretty confident I could figure out how to make things dead with it, I may not know everything about it or be able to handle it like a pro but as long as I can make bullets come out the end of it in the general direction of other people then that's all that matters.

The bottom line is that there are far more obvious and straight forward ways of learning to kill than playing video games like, oh I don't know, visiting your local shooting range perhaps?

@MacMad Only some parts are objective, the rest is subjective.

Performance aspects such as controls, framerate, graphics etc. are objective. I mean a game that runs at 20 FPS is pretty much unarguably technically flawed and if you assign movement controls to A/B/X/Y or S/C/T/X the world will agree that you're an idiot.

The rest such as story, pacing, gameplay are all subjective. Maybe you hate the story, maybe I don't. Maybe you struggle with the way the cars handle, maybe I don't. So on and so forth.

@coreyrobbins @Apathy4Marmite While I agree it's annoying to see someone's political agenda crammed into a review for a video game if you don't hold that same agenda.

I also get why it's included. It's just a warning light for anyone who would be bothered by such content to either tread cautiously around the game or to avoid it entirely, like when news reports warn you about images of a graphic nature before showing them.

Here's what happens when a reviewer brings up a point about a game that you don't agree with:

Nothing... Absolutely nothing.

You're still free to go wait in line at midnight to pick up the game, you're not physically locked out from all copies of the game, Sam and Dan Houser aren't going to shut down Rockstar Games and commit seppuku.

If you're that interested in playing the game, and have no problems with feminism/misogyny then this review literally changes nothing. So what's the problem?
