@Conan1985 Well yeah but Slate stated he didn't want to be killed by Comstock or his tin-men cuz they werent true soldiers and the struggle would be still pointless cuz he knew they would be slaughtered like dogs anyway. In that regard being killed by booker a man he admired and cpnsidered a true soldier was a better death and equally pointless so what the hell...
I still don't know where he originally gained the knowledge to cross worlds and started upon his path to becoming Comstock after his baptism. The Luteces were obviously the first to discover this technology and were employed by him as Comstock. What is the process he used to turn his daughter into a being capable of using this power at will. Did he sell his daughter to settle a debt as Booker Dewitt and then as Comstock decide to go back in time or a parallel universe to steal his daughter from the side of himself he despises and give her this power as a form of redemption but knows the other him will come for her and calls Booker the false shepherd as he considers that Booker will lead everyone he knows into ruin
I love Resi 4, and was curious as a fan of the series the day i saw it announced in a Gaming magazine and quickly grew to love it! Must have passed it about 7 times now! Though i can't argue that it just might have ruined the series forever the real problem in future survival horror(except Dead Space) lies in as Leon states it "Amateurs..."
I adored every single DMC game (except 2 fuk that...) and i can't say i didn't swallow :) some sadness when i saw the new look. It looks interesting if there's any way to describe what looks like came out of an LSD addicts brain (I'm looking at you ninja theory) so as an open-minded gamer I'll give it a try. From what i hear the combat system is supposedly improved but the game has no lock-on system or taunts, boss fights are formulaic and the combat ranking is based on solely dmg? Now im definetly interested in what way is it improved with those things being removed? The story is better than the as stated B-rated movie feel of the old ones however dmc 3 had a great story and great moments though i wont argue that 1,4 and ugh... 2 are crap story tellers though that was never DMC strong suit to begin with anyway... It had an amazing feel, like castlevania and it's setting. It's understandable the amount of hate for the new direction (what if castlevania started to look like this?!).I couldn't give a damn about the graphics but the one thing i have the most issues with is boss battles looking more like god of war than dmc... Who remembers Nelo Angelo, Vergil and even Credo Angelo boss fights as probably their most treasured memories from DMC and then saw these hit-and-run-of-the-mill Boss battles... Either way i'm interested in what direction will the game move forward from this. I can accept this game as a pilot episode of a show that drags it's feet at the begining and later becomes the new Friends...
