Shaun McInnis has played every Call of Duty campaign to date, but his fondest memory of the series is the chaotic joy of 18-player Domination matches on Modern Warfare's tiny Shipment map. He played Ghosts at a review event in Southern California. Travel was paid for by Activision.

Yeah the travel was paid for by a review event by activision

LOL

@sweetpotatofry @Animal-Mother It goes to show in-experience in online communities. Do I agree that people do get more vocal than they should? Yes Absolutely. But when you have been coming here as long as I have (hitting around 7 years now) you do begin to see all the inconsistencies in the reviews and it does become a shame especially when you used to respect a review source it's a shame to see the quality of it go down. But you'll see more vocal people than most and it is a shame they resort to certain things, but you just ignore them.

@Rat_King @Animal-Mother I agree and it's a shame because the site used to have incredibly well written reviews. It's a shame to see them go the route of "it's all subjective to us"

@sweetpotatofry @Animal-Mother A guy telling me to re-evaluate my life on the internet.

I looked at your profile. Out of sheer curiosity how long have you been coming here? Also you know what they say about assumption. You make an ass out of yourself. You don't know me, so please don't ask me to re-evaluate my life.

Because you are here crying about people crying on the internet. It shows in your post. It's the fact of the matter that is what happens at or on online communities. While I disagree with the review and not the score it's more childish coming in here calling people babies while you yourself are acting like a baby by calling people babies.

I do want to give them the benefit of the doubt as well. But as someone else in the comments said the site is easily becoming the pitchfork of the gaming world. Having elitist views on mainstream games and giving incredibly obscure games high scores.

While somethings need to be noticed the Stanley parable while telling a great narrative is literally just walking around. The same goes for dear esther, gone home and amnesia. While these games ARE different, there's not much to their mechanics rather than WASD and mouse movement. But these games score high why? I'm sorry but Gamespot has become one of the most inconsistent gaming sites on the net and has incredibly baffling review scores. I'm sorry but it's true, whether or not a review is subjective it's becoming incredibly elitist and down trodden on a lot of things mainstream due to the fact that they are mainstream.

And While I agree change is very nice and needed it's not needed especially on an incredibly pretentious level such as this.

@PixelAddict They are working on a next gen title that's why it was passed off.

I find the writing to be much better so far. And it's just more of the same, I have opened up it all yet but it seems solid as a batman game

While I don't normally watch these shows it was well done. I know change is inevitable but there has to be give and take between the community and gamespot. You gave us a place to call home but we also gave you the time and energy to flourish. While I love Gamespot the new TOU was just immediately dropped on all of us without an inkling. We knew change was coming but not this quickly, it may have been better to forewarn the mainstay community about the change and implementing it with the release of the new site. Again some of the things said in recent weeks have been completely unnecessary and lewd but ease the core audience into it. As a long time member I should feel as if this is a home for me. But alas over the past two days I feel the chains tightening incredibly fast. I also want to bring up something up which

@X_oddgod_X said. "it's clear that certain reviewers tend to see hate over women everywhere. What if I said that it's deeply frustrating to see men portrayed only as thugs, psychopaths and un-sensibly sexists in GTAV? I mean, that's written all over the box. There is no surprise there. Same thing with misogyny. Pointing that out sounds just like an excuse to talk about personal agenda and that's what bothers me"

This is something I've found perturbing over the past couple of months. While the reviews and articles are great , all I feel as if the coin has been flipped and there's been no equally sided articles. While I agree that they are opinions and if games want to be considered art e must look at it from every possible viewpoint. To come out and say it the issue i'm having is it's coming from one sole angle. That angle is the feminist angle. Now as I said everyone is entitled to their opinion and viewpoints, but reading articles about how things are about the "White Male power fantasy" are unprofessional if there's no counterpoint to it all. Nothing for nothing I don't want to sit here and read about how everything is about that. It's unprofessional and it's incredibly biased given the articles as of late, there shouldn't be an article called "Grading on the gender curve" it shows how biased a reviewer can be due to their personal standpoint. I know reviews are subjective but considering they are games it should be reviewed as objectively as possible I don't want to know someones personal issues with the game. I wanna know the details of the game itself. Is it playable, does it have framerate or graphical issues? Does it control well?
