I think people are confusing Feminism with women not wanting to portrayed as one-dimensional in games, but I also think that it's changing for the better, with major titles such as the Mass Effect and Fallout series offering a strong female protagonist - or better yet, the ability to play as yourself. The crux of the matter is that most games are written and designed by men and as a gender, we're never going to know a woman's mind better than one of their own, so even if every game had a female lead, it'd still come off half-baked because they're predominantly (but not all) male interpretations of what a strong/weak female character should be like. Add to that the need to play it safe and guarantee profitable returns on your product and the end result is a majority of male-driven games for a majority male customer base.

Agreed with EternalDove, nobody is forced to read or watch this article and it's something a bit different with a dry sense of humour, and Gazzad obviously takes things a bit too seriously..
