I like what Ghost Recon: Future Soldier producer Stuart White says, it eats our time, I do play video-games but I can say for sure that these social games are much more time consuming, I tried them, and you really need and want to come every minute to your farm or isle or whatever. Why I dislike social gaming? Because, if I want to interact with other people, I will go out with my friends, in other words with people I know and talk face to face, and have much greater time then I can do with strangers or through network :)
remember the GDC Sony conference? They are not hiding the fact that they copied Nintendo on a way or two, they even sad that it will be something natural that the Nintendo household moves to Sony/move household, so I don't see a reason why so people argue about this topic :) I hope the move succeeds :)
I love this setup :) woudn't have anything against one :D just that I would pay at least about $5500-7000 in my country, first of all because I live in Europa and second, there isn't an official distribution for Nvidia, Ati, Intel or other big names, so the costs raise. I kinda thought the FPS would be bigger, but those are already big numbers especially with triple GPU, I played Fallout 3, not everything on high with only 30 FPS :)
I see where the X360 versions are better, but aside of RE5 I liked all games how they looked on PS3 :) but I do agree that they are shraper and have better textures on the X360 version. Maybe GS will add PC to comparison again, like they did last time ;)
I was someone who always thought that games should always have great stories, and that we don't have to compare them to anything then to other games. I agree with Lake and Schafer that combining Story and GamePlay is a hard thing but it's possible. Schafer is a legend and he knows what he is doing. Lake did an excellnt job with Max Payne. David Cage should better not dissapoint us, but I think that's impossible. Heavy Rain looks great, feels great, plays great, etc. I never was a fan of shooting as much as possible, I rather stay at one point and looks at the scenery and thing what everything happend in the story till now and that the stroy takes me to the next goal. Heavy Rain, you have to do something big and you better succed at that :)
