@Kabbalistica @Andrex1212 I just looked up Yarn Yoshi after what you mentioned since I somehow hadn't seen anything about the actual game at hand yet; but wow... that looks interesting to say the least.

@Space_Paranoids Unfortunately I am so broke that I really have hard times deciding between 20 different games to buy every month or so; and I did have an interest in the game strictly because it could feed my hunger for constant demolition until GoW Ascension which looks fascinating. Although I think I'll be plopping the money down on Darksiders II for the Wii U and like you said, looking into DmC when it's lowered down in price.

@Kabbalistica @NTM23 @Andrex1212 Well I felt the same way with Bayonetta. It was something new and fresh. I absolutely LOVE God of War as well, Roman and Greek mythology has always been a fascination of mine; but Bayonetta had a cool story with great characters, and it was extremely wacky like a lot of Japanese games which I love as well. That last fight... whooeee that was some crazy stuff. I obviously won't spoil it for anybody, but it was one of my favourite games of the year at the time.

@Elaisse @shadowhunter0 It doesn't affect me either... I play all my original carts that I've ripped onto my computer. Every generation I would grab those awesome cartridge devices that rip the rom from the cart so I could make sure my carts are in as pristine condition as possible. I very rarely will download a rom that I don't own or haven't ever owned unless it's something nearly impossible to find anywhere including something like the VC.

@Elaisse @shadowhunter0 I understand that they worked to put the games on Wii U... but honestly, that's the price they pay for upgrading the Virtual Console for a new home console. Sorry to say Nintendo, but that's the price of business. Charging people more for games they ALREADY own isn't really fair. In all honesty though, it's certainly a step up from a lot of companies like Microsoft who charge such ridiculous prices for their games, and I guarantee they would never do cross-console purchases like Sony does.

@NTM23 @Andrex1212 @Kabbalistica Oh interesting! I'll definitely check it out today. I did get a rip of DMC3 from a friend that I've kept since I rip all of my games so I can keep them in as mint condition as possible. Only reason I use emulators or mods for consoles actually. If I can save my carts and discs from being ruined, I'll do it. But yeah, I'll have to go to my PS2 section and pop that onto a disc to try. I wasn't too big on DMC2 compared to the original which is why I didn't try DMC3 of course.

@Kabbalistica @NTM23 Well yeah, it wasn't going to be a deal breaker for me to not get the game. If the game is good then I will play it because when it gets right down to it, I need to be entertained. I'm not very critical when it comes to games, especially these days with the epic failures that I am seeing on a monthly basis.. but anyways. The fact that they changed the entire design of Dante screamed to me that they don't exactly understand what a DMC game is in the first place though.

@Kabbalistica @Andrex1212 Right on, well I didn't plan on wasting my money on DmC so I will save that money for Bayonetta 2 which I'm pretty pumped for. As well as finding out what exactly this new Yoshi game is going to be!?!?!?! I was actually talking to my wife a couple months ago saying "You know what they NEED to bring back for the Wii U.... A damn Yoshi game!!! There was no Yoshi game for Gamecube or Wii, and finally they are bringing him back. I'm hoping it's like a NSMB style Yoshi's Island! :)

@NTM23 @Andrex1212 @Kabbalistica Ahhhh ok, I was curious about that because I recently bought Playstation All Stars Battle Royale, and you can play with old Dante as an alternate costume. I thought "oh so we get him in this shitty Sony version of Smash Bros. but not in the real game!?!?!" I actually only played DMC 1 and 2 though. I recently have wanted to get the DMC HD Collection, but I'm incredibly broke :P

@Kabbalistica @NTM23 Have you actually tried the new DmC? I don't like the artistic direction they went in for the new DmC, but is it fun to play? Ruining the badass Dante really was the worst thing they could possibly do to that series... I don't understand at all why the hell they did that...
