@svdbygrce02 @Alt-appy thief always had and will continue to have a first person view but for a certain few like me who like to see the character they are playing since thief is a character driven game, its not a too much to put in a option to switch to 3rd person view from time to time.
After few hours in the game i found i felt a bit bored at certain places but i still forced myself to keep playing thinking it might get better but it didn't :s Had very high expectations from this game and Kevin gave it a 9, I was so pumped by the score and all the hype that i got it on day 1 played 8 hours non-stop and another 7 hours and now after completing it i see that this game isn't that great.(my fault)Good review though.
@hughobrien @hughobrien , but having a huge gamer population is entirely different from that of the music or TV industry those are more casual and more accessible, hence more audience and since we gamers don't really settle with anything below average(atlest i don't.)i think its the quality that is on the forefront.
oh yea right, so since the industry lacks "good" or even "decent" game designers then why is gaming the most preferred hobby of millions of people around the globe or is there a mysterious force that somehow makes a dull game fun to play? i mean someone is putting in a really hard work in designing games, cause believe it or not most games I've come across have been amazing.
@chunkyjake you are not alone mate. even i thought that ac3 was the best yet, the most ambitious atlest. Ac3 is a got a lot of criticism mainly but not entirely because of the reason that it didn't live up to the high standards that ac 2 had set, which in no way makes ac3 a bad game at all.I am a bit skeptical about this new one though but gonna buy it nonetheless.
@Uiltetwr So glad u mentioned it :D, i did notice the change with Desmond's appearance and was really annoyed with it.He actually looked a bit bloated in revelations itself, no idea why. What were they thinking when they made the co-protagonist look entirely different from the earlier games...and yea brotherhood's assassin's recruitment was way better than ac3.
Didn't like bioshock a lot but played bioshock 2 a week back just to prep up for this one and i had no freaking idea that my mind would be blown in into pieces by that amazing amazing game,hate me for saying bioshock 2 is better that one i don't even care since i can't wait to see what irrational has in store for us.
