@Saladudo: Chelsea Handler is (still) attached to this so that should answer your question. If this never sees the light of day then nothing of any value was lost.
I pulled a quote by Jovan Adepo from your article about making movies where he says "you want to be able to go to a movie and enjoy a movie without it speaking to the social climate of what's going on right now, or whatever the case may be. You know what I mean?"
They just want to make movies and be entertaining.
Then I quoted from Tony Wilson's review of this movie where he laments over something utterly ridiculous. I just thought he needed to be called out on it since comments were disabled for that article. However, I will apologize for the Buzzfeed comment. Anyway, Movie looks good and I can't wait to see it.
"But like, you want to be able to go to a movie and enjoy a movie without it speaking to the social climate of what's going on right now, or whatever the case may be. "
Yet just yesterday the reviewer on this site said...
"Unfortunately, she's the only female character in the entire film, save for a throwaway extra or two. While that may be accurate for the setting and scenario in which these soldiers find themselves, it's still slightly disappointing."
He then promptly disabled comments for the article. This site is practically Buzzfeed at this point.
