I would have to agree that I was very disappointed with Halo Wars, and I sold it after playing it for maybe an hour. I thought it was just done very poorly (especially for being in the Halo franchise) and will only ever play it again to get the achievements as having only 20 points for a game quite annoys me!
Alright thanks all for the ideas and what not. Yes, I know I should definitely pay my bills but I know I can squeeze out $15 for AC2 as that is not gonna be a bill crusher! So I think I will pick that one up as I have played about 1/3 through AC and as it does get very repetitive I do enjoy it and have been told the sequel is even better. So I appreciate it and hopefully I will be set through the summer!
I would not worry about getting a Kinect as with those games you will not need it, and if they come out with one I doubt he will use it compared to a controller. It just is not worth it at this time except for family games in my opinion. You could try the NCAA game as those are just like Madden except with college teams which I prefer personally. If he likes hockey you could also go with the NHL games as well.
Ok basically I have enough cash to buy like one more game right now (otherwise its going to bills unless I use it now haha) and was wondering if you think these will last me or if I should buy another game (and what game that will last awhile)? I have Assassins Creed, Bioshock, Final Fantasy XIII, Black Ops, Mass Effect, Dead Space and Borderlands. I am out of a job for about two months so no new games for two months unless I buy one now. Do you think those will last or should I pick up another? And what game if I should that will last awhile. Also, I pretty much will be playing almost every day as I have nothing else to do til I go to college.
So we are throwing a themed '80s party at my work and I thought it would be fun for everyone to bring in my Nintendo and possibly my Genesis in to play. I am more looking for NES games though as I am not sure we will have enough room to hook up two consoles but will still take ideas for the Genesis as well. Anyways, I am looking for ideas on games that are competitive for 2 player. We want something so that whoever wins (like Dr. Mario for example) will win some sort of prize. I have about a week to get some ideas for games and then to track them down and make sure to have them for the party. So if anyone has any good ideas for NES games that would work (and Genesis) that would be great!
I won't e donating the ENTIRE weekend to it, but I feel a very large portion will be dedicated. Especially considering I have been stuck playing WoW lately, and finally got extremely bored of the game and quit. So to have this game, I definitely want to take my time with it, but also move along quickly to start with the end game content.
