I beat the first 4 out of 7 areas in like 30min, got bored, and quit. The scenery is top notch. I liked how you travel between levels allowing you to view the scenery giving a break between puzzles. The story was semi entertaining from the bit I read. This is a puzzle game though and the puzzles were simple and the methods to beat them were repetitive as the reviewer noted. If you are looking for a puzzle game this will be boring and not challenging. If you are looking to kill some time, have a mild brain challenge, and take in some scenery then this will be a good game for you. I rate it a 6 like the average reviewer by gamers on this site.
@combat-high18 @RoachRush @crazyj_007123 I beat it with more lives than I started with. I got good by using the code so I could play through the whole game. Then I could do it without continuing. Then without the code. Finally with getting more lives than dying. I played the hell out of it lol
If you want the exact same game play but different story just play Icewind Dale for same time period and Dragon Age 1 for a newer game. To me DA1 was BG3.
@eamo-k @jackzor123 I dont think I have seen a single negative comment and all the reviewers have put in 80+ hours. At the time of review and I think Kevin was at 100 hours. You dont need that much time to review a game if your opinion is that it sucks. I have also been looking for a good RPG and nothing else has really released.
The art work looks great and the game physics are good. A ton of people just played Halo for the death matches. This game can easily be updated with some good team fighting maps and many people would be happy. However, it is suppose to be a FPS MMO, and in that regards it fails hard. I agree with Kevin's review, however, I would note that this game has a lot of potential, so it may be a 6 now, but future updates and expansions can really fix a lot fo the issues.
@dani3po Get Kings Bounty Armored Princess. Probably the best in the series. The first one was good to. The third they got lazy and this one (the forth) I dont think they even tried.
@csward A game like this is not about the graphics. They are no good, but they are good enough. They didnt add new units, new bosses, or new skills. The dark follower is basically the same as the dragon or valks from past games. There were hardly any artifacts. I am 3/4 way through and I have empty slots as I never found a belt and only found like 2 artifacts for my 3 slots.
@Etagloc @RyuRanVII Totally agree. I didnt finish the third as the quests are very forgettable so it boils down to the same turn base battles over and over. I got 3/4 through this one and got bored. As far as I am aware there were not any "bosses". The other game had 4 massive units to battle. There were hardly any artifacts and none that i found you had to dive into them to upgrade. It seemed to be a poorly done sequel. Armored Princess brought in rage/dragon and the flying horse ontop of new bosses and units. The third one didnt do anything new and neither did this one...
