From what I've seen, the preorder exclusive weapons aren't worth much. I unlocked the Thompson from BF1943 in the beta and it was nothing to write home about. I honestly didn't see huge advantages to the weapons you unlock. They are certainly better, but if someone has the drop on you, it doesn't much matter if their guns aren't as good.[QUOTE="rragnaar"][QUOTE="AtomicTangerine"]
I would be super pumped about it, but I don't have the money to get it right now. However, I noticed in 1943 that they are giving guns to players who pre-order again, and since I can't get it day 1, I probably never will. I hate having stuff that can be used AGAINST me online being locked out to me soley for marketing reasons.

Oh yeah, I'm sure I could still use whatever other things aren't locked out to me, but that's still no excuse for what they are doing. I just imagine if I was playing Modern Warfare 2 and the ACR or one of my other favorite guns was one of the ones that the marketing department decided would be a good pre-order, and that would be enough for me to not play the game. It's just that there are so many great multiplayer games that I don't have to put up with one where the marketing team behind the game gets to make decisions along with the developer.
When I was in the BETA, I unlocked those two guns pretty fast. It's not like it's exclusive to people who pre-order, everything you get when you pre-order the game is just getting the same stuff ahead of time, but not really exclusively.
