If you read the GTA4 review, it says that the "online support for 16 players" is part of what makes GTA4 a superb game. I honestly have yet to see or play the online, but it sounds as though a lot here would disagree. Apparently, the Gamespot reviewer thought it was good.

As for MGS4, I understand why MGO wouldn't be considered part of the game. MGO is a seperate project/game in itself, and shouldn't count for or against MGS4.

I'll try to keep this short. DKC 1, 2, and 3, along with DK 64, were fantastic games that made me proud to be a Nintendo owner. you could argue that the DK franchise became the #3 Nintendo franchise, only behind Mario and Zelda. It has been 9 years since DK 64 came out, and there has not even been an announcement of a new DK platformer.

So what happened? Did Nintendo decide to give up on DK once Rare left? Is the Kong family doomed to play second fiddle in Smash Bros. and Mario Kart forever? Why has Nintendo seemingly abandoned this franchise?

A few I would add that I didn't see here:

Death Egg from Sonic 2

A ton of bosses from the Mega Man series

As of recent, I would say the Meta Ridley fight from Brawl is pretty good.

IGN put up a live blog on their site.

http://wii.ign.com/articles/865/865699p1.html

Mario Baseball, Wii Fit, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon details included.

Also info on Boom Blox. Guitar Hero for DS was mentioned, but no info was allowed to be leaked.

-----------------

Wii fit sounds pretty cool, Mario Baseball sounds like a dud. I have no opinion on the other two.

Rumors have it that Sonic fights a werewolf clone of himself in this one. That has me worried about this game already :(

i think you guys are a bit to negative. the only sonic games that have sucked really badly recently are sonic ps3/360 and shadow. secret rings was pretty good and if they make this one similar to adventure 2 but focus more on sonic it could be great.

I think Secret Rings was so-so, but the gameplay has tons of potential. If they could tweak a few things and improve the level design, they could make a great game with this formula.

Knowing Sega:

- This game will come out on PS3/XBox360, despite the better fanbase on the Wii.

- It will come out months before it should, and will be filled with ridiculous bugs.

- The Wii will get a consolation prize with "Sega Superstars Minigame Party".

Sorry to be so negative, I've just become pretty jaded by Sega's recent efforts.

I also remember reading an interview about a month ago that made it painfully clear that the Wii would be a secondary platform for Sega, with their main efforts being the 360 and PS3. We've been buying their games, but hey, I guess that's not enough.

Starfox 64. Yeah, it was ok. Still, I don't understand the hype that game gets.

OOT Zelda. Looking for the very first sword. Looked all over the village, couldn't find it. Looked in the training area, couldn't find it. Looked in the Lost Woods, fought everything with Deku sticks, got all the way to the Forest Temple, and still couldn't find it. I finally had to use the internet to look at a walkthrough, something I hate doing.

Turns out, it is in the training center. The problem was that I was so busy running away from the giant rock in the training center, that I missed the sword entirely. You'd have to think way back to understand what I'm talking about, but the rock chases you in a circle and if you're avoiding the rock, you run to the left. The path to the sword is to the right, but for some reason I never saw the path, I assumed it wasn't there, and I just started to wander around the woods.

I had to use a walkthrough in that game only one other time, to find a key in the Water Temple. That is by far the dumbest thing I've done in a game, and one of the dumbest things I've heard from anyone that has played a game.
