People only ninja your loot if your playing on a random match up online or with people you don't trust. I'd still say its a better system than slowing the game down to roll on loot after a big boss or having to wait for someone else to pick up their loot to then ask if everyone wants it.

Theres a few more reviews floating around, at I think 9.75, 95%. Generally in the 9 area.

You say Gamespots more 'honest', but a lot of the time the score doesn't represent the reviewers actual issues with the game. Sometimes they seem to take the score down for critical things. Your best off looking at a few, and reading the actual reviews. Scores are always wishy washy.

There is local split screen, but you can't split screen with another user who is split screening. It is on the Gearbox forums somewhere. Id give the time to look up but, frankly, I dont care that much.

Does anyone feel the player community is just running around as scouts or riflemen? I have just played a game where everyone was a riflemen I believe. And before that, when I actually had engineers on my team, not once did a sensory grenade, or any detection equipment go up.

I cry that the forums are filled with such as you.

You say looks, showing you haven't played the game; neither have I so I won't say whether it is better or worse than Skyrim. However, just reading the review, it doesn't appear to be a similar style of RPG to Skyrim, and shouldn't really be comparable. Maybe compare it to Dragon Age: Origins, but again thats just from the sound of the review.

On a side note, I can't be the only one who didn't enjoy Skyrim that greatly, can I? The story didn't grip me, the gameplay bores me, with most of the time it being just hit things alot, and the graphics weren't amazing. It just left a lot to be desired, in my opinion.

Religion is an inherently flawed idea, and people with rational don't NEED it, which isn't to say there isn't a place for relgion. Many reside in a faith to strengthen their belief in a world that, while has evil in it, is still effectively good natured. The believe in it because many people cannot fathom that millions of highly unlikely probabilities turned out and landed us here now. Relgion isn't rational and is there as comfort, in this more athiestic society.

The problems with relgion dont directly come from any of their teachings. Many of them are fine to be followed, and would be recomended for day to day life, however the reasons behind them are not down to following the religion, and more to do with basic human nature. Problems with religion arise when fanatics, such as many on this board, decide to feverishly defend their religion, and state other ideas as being wrong. People should be free to believe as they choose, and not be attacked for such.

I'm an agnostic, due to many coincidences within the creation of the universe, as well as characters in these religions, and some common events, such as the Angel Gabriel, both being in the Bible, as well as the Quaran. I am not willing to believe that any one religion would be true, but would be willing to believe in a higher power, who has a minor influence, such as nudging hydrogen atoms to cause the big bang, or nudging Alexander Flemings mind to luckily discover penicillin, though would deny the idea of prophets.

The serious sam forum I go to is on SOPA/PIPA strike. Caught me while downloading a demo. I had to close the download while updating the computer and when I refreshed I got a big fat Sopa strike page. Also Wikipedia. I wonder why major sites such as youtube, google, and facebook are not in the blackout. If these major sites don't do it then people won't move against the SOPA act because they don't know about it. 95% of the people I have on facebook have never even heard of the SOPA/PIPA lol.

Google is supporting it, by on their main page having a link to the legislation and ways to go against it. Youtube doesnt, at least openly, it may secretly, as it seems to try to remain politically unbias, by hosting videos and such from all parties, and advertising all. Facebook may have the same rational. Plus, if not, people will just constantly link to copyrighted material, and get the sites into a legal nightmare.

A link to those that have officialy confirmed. Has Gamespot/GameFAQs done anything? I mean it affects gamers pretty heavily...

gamertylers

I don't think a CBS site will be doing anything to go against what they are promoting.

I didnt know that, thanks. If the act goes through, how can websites such as this, with open forums, avoid constant copyright infringements? I mean, since games are recognised as IP, you cant link to video walkthroughs, spoofs containing other material etc.
