Why in the world anyone takes Pachter serious is beyond me. How can this guy still have a job with how often he talks poop? I think he just loves seeing his name mentioned and that is why every so often he just talks some bull**** so he gets some attention. When will the gaming community finally start ignoring him!!
And what happens down the line when a company steps out of the games market or they go bankrupt or they just decide not to support the platform you save your games on, anymore. You will lose all your content that you payed for!!! I will want a physical copy, now and forever. Look at EA how they already shut down servers so people can not play there sports game online anymore, pretty much making your game useless. Do you really think that wont happen in the future?
This guy is talking poop. He might hope that the new consoles go all digital, but i actually think that the console that does will fail badly. Most people are not ready yet and neither am i. I want a disc or cartridge, something i actually can touch and sell again if i am done with it. If we go all digital prices for games will stay high where as now online webshops offer games for low prices a couple of months after they got released. On platforms like the ps3 and the xbox360 they still dare to ask high prices for old games. I so hope they dont go all digital.
A new Mario, new like Galaxy was new on the Wii. A new Zelda, a new Metroid, a new Nintendo IP, something new and fresh that amazes everyone. It has been a long time ago that Nintendo brought a real new IP that was interesting. Crap like Wii Music does not count.
@Choad-Warrior I think i remember Nintendo saying that the price wont be announced at E3. I think you will have to wait till Gamescom in Germany, or the Tokyo games show for that news.
@BunX23 You give your money to the starving kids in Africa, and other choose to buy the portal gun if they like and want it. I sort of doubt that you give all your extra money away to the kids in Africa, most people like you turn out to be hypocrits, but go you. Everyone has the choice to spend their money how they want, and judging if it is a waste or not is not up to you. What you think is a waste, might be a treasure to someone else. ;)
