Apart form making RDR available for the PC(that everyone is saying, I know), they have Borderlands 2 coming up as well as GTA V so I'm sure that will give them a nice pat on the back soon. They are a publisher, publishers take risks and with Spec-Ops they shouldn't have had the goal set in the clouds. You win some, you lose some.
@Vambran Many things have been created due to piracy, one being a constant online connection(which really just made piracy worse). The reason why FTP is being adopted is that it makes money, and lots of it.
Standard release : ~$60FTP : Free but you only get like a taste then you have to buy this, and that.
It just fools the cutomer into thinking by spending $5 here, $10 there, "I'm saving money!", whereas it can easily cost way more than $60.
Piracy may have sparked the FTP's model but blind customers are the only reason it is a success.
The sooner people start seeing the total GREED behind the FTP model the sooner it will disappear.
KOA was really a wonderful game, first time I played it I knew I would enjoy it. It really got it's foot in the door. If there were to be a sequel, I just hope they will keep what the first one presented and built on that. If that happens I'll be more than willing to pledge my support.
@GLOK1132 Yes, that's very true. The beauty(at times brutal) of Assassin's Creed lines in its personality, it's characters, its wonderfully written background and story. The inclusion of MP was only to try and gain more customers, beyond that we have to admit that it doesn't really serve much purpose. I am definitely getting this game, just not going to bother about this MP stuff.
@zero_6666 Sorry Buddy, I guess you cannot admire Borderlands for all that it presented to the gamers. It's nice to see a company that still makes wild decisions with art style(in my opinion as today the focus seems to be realism more than anything else) and basically just make the game to be just damn fun. If you cannot say something nice about it, please don't assault it by saying it was "really shitty". If you didn't enjoy it, you don't have to even follow Borderlands 2, just follow what you enjoy like us Borderlands fans are doing.
This trailer is awesome. This just adds to the excitement I built up just from playing the first. Hell, I'm still playing the first still. It's so close I can taste it....wait, no...that's just some blood from biting my lip getting too excited watching this trailer. Anyways, it still stands, I'm as ready as can be to explore the world of Pandora, with 96.5% more WUB WUB ofcourse.
When did they announce a burnout with cops??!! oh...it's need for speed... -.- Need for speed is dead now, the name has no meaning anymore other than a synonym for Burnout. As for the movie, I'm more than happy as long as they don't go breaking the laws of physics with the stunts(Fast and Furious 5 anyone?).
Haha, nice idea people. One problem, no one really watches it for the football...Mostly hot ladies playing in underwear, any young man's dream, right? As much as I would like to try this game, something tells me that its going to be boring as hell. This is for those weird guys who only played the lingerie matches in WWE...Pass
