There's a topic discussing the exact same thing...

We know it's selling it already, I think you can get it at Gamestop also, I saw it on their site, haven't checked out the store. Oh, and it's also selling at the Microsoft Stores which are for microsoft customers only, and they a get a discount on everything there.:P

[QUOTE="00Sythe00"]I was thinking of putting it on the box, or would the box be to weak and wobbly?grafkhun

mine is horizontal on the box, but I would not put it vertically on the box, too unsteady.

How long have you had it like that, any problems?

I was going through another topic and it seemed like most people place it horizontaly, but the people who place it vertically apparently don't have heating problems, and very few of them, only 1 or 2 have RRoD

@ Coolduel - GTFO these forums if all you're going to do is spam.

Alright, so I guess I'll place it vertically, but the problem is the place with my TV is carpeted, and if I put it in the little thing on which my TV is on and has my DVD player and what not, it will be in a cramped area, so what should I place it on so it's not on carpet?

Well, I asked the same question in another topic, but no luck, so I'm asking here, again. :p

I want to know the best way to place my 360, should I place it horizontaly, or vertically?

People say when you place it vertically it has a harder time reading the disc and it might jam, but when you place it horizontaly it will heat up more often.... I just can't decide which would be the best way to place it so it will work properly, and not get harmed because of the way I'm placing it...

Tell me how you place it, and if you've had any problems with it heating up faster in a certain way, and your experiences with that sort of stuff.

Man, some of you guys have the sickest setups I've ever seen. I'll post mine up here once I get my 360 Elite back, but it wont be much, I just have a 30' non HD tv, a DVD player, VHS, PSP, no speaker system, and like 4 games. :?

Hoping to buy a new HDTV soon though, probably a 42'. :D

1) There is no 48 hour free trial, but you do get 1 Month free with the Xbox bundles, but not the Arcade one.

2) You buy a Xbox live card to play online not Microsoft Points

3) You don't have to pay for online for each seperate game, you just pay for online and you can play online with whichever game which has some sort of online mode. You also need a wireless router or a cable to directly plug it in and play.

If you want to find out which games to get, go to the URL below. Most of the games on there are good games, some of them might be a bit higher price, but others are cheapers since they have been out for a while.

I don't think they will take it back and give you anything since there is nothing wrong with the console, and since you have already opened it, it's to late.

Sorry, GameSpot does have a horrible return policy, if you want to avoid things like this in the future, just shop somewhere else.)

You can just shrug it off, yes if you bought the 60GB you would've had extra money to buy more games, but the Elite is black, and once you go black, you can never go back.:D

That is a link to the GameStop return policy, you can read for more information.
