I was going to rent it on PS4. But it was mostly because there's nothing else to play on the freakin' thing. (Got BB rented right now and I've gotten a bit bored of it)
I'm tempted to finally buy a PS4. I can get one for a decent price. I've held off because there's only two games I even want to play and even then, I'm not exactly dying to play them.
I'll watch this video and see if there's any I'm interested in.
As I watch, I'll be answering with one of the following:
I can play the better version of that on PC
I'm interested in that, I'd really like to play it.
I have no interest in that (probably a genre I don't care for, like fighting or driving).
2. a huge deal of PC gamers bought it on console out of impatience
I've been almost exclusively playing on PC for about 14 years and I bought it on console and sold it once I got near the end of the game. Haven't bought it on PC yet. I'm sure there's a lot of people in the same boat.
I still don't own a PS4. There's two games on the entire system I'd play. lol.
It's going on 2 years old in a couple of months? It's successful because it's the most powerful whilst being decently priced (comparitively to other consoles).
Every time I think of buying a PS4, my mind just diverts to thinking about what else the money could buy for my PC.
So a third of sales and as anyone with a shred of honesty and knowledge of how these things work will tell you, the PC sales figures are typically unnacounting.

You do know that lower prices mean less money for the devs, right? That game budgets are mostly measured on how studios predict a game will sell at full price, not Steam price cuts.
More sales means more money. More people are also likier to pay less.
You console peasants are really grasping at straws. You don't even think your arguments through, you just knee-jerk from jealousy and post the first things that comes to mind without thinking much about it.
