Aw damn. I read the title as "Crysis 2, years later." I was expecting like a trailer or something :( lol.

I was checking out NCIX's Black Friday and I quickly ordered these items (CAN Dollars):
2x Zalman ZM-MIC 1 Microphone($4.99 each)
AuzenTech X-PLOSION Cinema 7.1 Sound Card DTS Connect Dolby Digital Live Sound Card PCI 32BIT($64.99, $59.99 after MIR)
Sennheiser HD201 G4ME Gaming Headset ($39.99 pricematched from newegg.ca, on NCIX $69.95)
If anyone has any alternatives to these items, could you please recommend other products (soundcard, headphones, mic), as I can still cancel my order.:)
Battlefield slaughters MW2 and COD4 in one single swoop. IMO NOTHING will beat Battlefield 2, except Battlefield 3.

I agree, had far more fun with BF2 then with the MWs

if i dor emember about 5 provicne pay only 5% TAX : GST when purchase from stuff such as newegg.ca / ncix.com canada but from lot of site such as tigerdirect : peonline also charged only 5% TAX while when i buy here in quebec or ontario for most of stuff it 12.5% it fun how online = huge saving regardless of shipping
go with any who give you best for buckNibroc420
Totally wrong? both PST: 7% and GST: 5% are charged on electronic items. in ALL provinces. while the PST might change, and you might have HST in some places..every province pays roughly the same.
I'm pretty sure I payed 5% tax as well when I purchased parts from NCIX (I live in Ontario)? Guessing Provincial Sales Tax doesn't apply when purchasing stuff online interprovincially, might be wrong though.
Its fine but...
Why you even buying that extra cooler? No offense air flow is nice but its not like that PC is heavy duty. Itll drop u below $300 too. Prolly gonna get yelled at by others "oh my god he should always have teh coolin's" but in all seriousness its pointless. That case and PS are really weak...probably blow up in a couple weeks.
Human-after-all
Alright, I took out the fan.
I chose the crap case and psu as it saves me a bunch. If the psu ever failed, I could just replace it?
didnt he need a better GPU if he intends to hook an HDTV to thos rig?GazaAli
I think its good enough.
I'm building a PC for my parents with a budget of $300 that they are going to hook up to their HDTV. They're going to use it for simple things; video, browsing, e-mail, pictures.
Here is what I ended up with:
