Honestly, I wasn't expecting this game to be an 8.

User Rating: 8 | Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands X360
Let's face it, all Prince of Persia fans (Including myself) had no hope for this game being good. Now I feel bad judging a video game by its cover, because what The Forgotten Sands turned out to be was a fun and enjoyable ride. To make things simple, you start off in the middle of a war, and you're trying to meet up with you're brother. Later you see your brother basically unleash hell and its minions upon you. From this you find out the only way to stop them is to combine two medallions together (Yours and your brothers). Then your brother refuses because killing hell's minions makes him stronger through the medallion, then turns evil, and you have to stop him. On your quest to stop him you get some pretty bad-ass element powers (Earth, wind, water, fire). You also get to upgrade them so they can become better and stronger. Also, the puzzles (Which makes Prince of Persia fun) are better than ever. Some are pretty difficult and will require you to rewind time (Yes that's back) so you can try again. I don't like giving much away in my reviews, but for someone who was expecting a crappy game, I actually really enjoyed it. POP fans do NOT pass this one up, especially now since it's only like $10.

Presentation: 7.5
Typical Prince of Persia, except without the technical glory like other games.

Graphics: 7.5
It's definitely a next-gen game, but it's not entirely great (Considering Ubisoft gave us Assassins Creed).

Sound: 8
The music is good, even though it's barely around, and the original Prince is awesome. However, enemies fall a little short.

Gameplay: 8
Platforming is tons of fun, especially since they spiced it up a bit. Element powers are cool, but doesn't make up for the combat.

Replay Value: 7
The only replay value this game has is if you're trying to catch some achievements you missed the first time around. Once you're done with the game that's about it, oh and one challenge level.
