Posibly the best fighting game on the market.
Gameplay 10/10- Powerstone is an arena style fighting game in which you can transform into various forms , if you will. In this game, there are a variety of interactive stages in which you can operate turrets, go up elevators, swing on trees, and fall from stage to stage. It has very smooth gameplay and is " just plain fun " ADDICTING
Graphics 8/10- Since theese games orrigionaly came out on Dreamcast, we cant expect the hight in gaming graphics. It has cartoony kind of gra[phics with vivid colors. The backrounds are semi 2D but thats ok......
Sound 10/10 - The soundtrack for this game is pretty good. I usualy have no problem with game sountracks. This soundtrack kind of puts you in an ADVENTEROUS mood. The ADVENTEROUS style of music really fits the game.
Value 10/10 - This game is definatley a MUST BUY because it is simply addicting. You cant stop playing. In this portion of the review ill just state a bunch of features that are in the game. Firts there are the two games Powerstone and Powerstone 2. There is also a collection gallery in which you can view art, listen to music, and play minigames such a Falcon's air adeventure ( origionaly released for the sega Dreamcast VMU) In Powerstone 1, its not so much as a Battle Royal style game but more like a traditional fighting game but arena style. It has a better story mode than Powerstone 2. Powerstone 2 offers the Battle Royal gameplay which can go up to 4 players. In this mode you can set teams so you and 3 friends can duke it out on top of an airship, in an ancient toumb, in front of a traditional japaneese pagoda, or in the middle of the desert! There are a few unlocable charecters, stages, minigames, and weapons. There is also an item shop in which you can buy weapons, equip funny clothes that dont really do anything but make you look stupid. There are 3 versions of the story mode which are 1 on 1, 1 on 3, and plain old ADVENTURE.
