I am a huge pokemon fan and I have played every single (official) pokemon game.
At first I wasn't sure I was going to like this game, but still I gave it a try and I have to admit, even though the gameplay is new and pretty unique for the pokemon franchise it's nice and refreshing.
I agree there are some flow... such as a lack of explanation but still if you have an IQ of over 60 you'll figure it out.
I like the game and recommend it very much. I mainly spend time on trying to find "The perfect pokemon" for each trainer and believe me it takes some time ;)

I just remembered, another HUGE flow is the fact that the game is just too easy I mean even the first time you play against a "Boss" is very easy but well this isn't a game like Tekken or Mortal Kombat that is extremely hard at the end. It's a Tactical Turn-Based game, it's fun and not that challenging.
