I bought this game on day one, and I still play it today. The game is just pure fun. The balance is good. The gun-play is good. The customization is interesting. The classes are diverse. There's a good diverse type of matches to play, and most are fun. An added bonus is that this game can be played by little kids.
There are three downsides to the game. No singleplayer mode, always online, and micro-transactions. The no singleplayer is frustrating, but the price of the game makes up for it as it was $39.99 at release, may be cheaper today. Always online isn't a huge deal, but some may find that irritating. Finally, micro-transactions aren't a huge deal in this game since it's mainly for customization. But it should be noted that the classes have a variety of types, which can change how they play. This can be affected by micro-transactions, but it's not a huge deal.
