A fantastic Pikmin experience, while it lasts

Pikmin 3 is a wonderful adventure that blends the best parts of its predecessors into a beautiful looking game with spot-on controls, especially the Gamepad + stylus control scheme, which was added via an upgrade a few months after its release. The game is challenging but fair, and the Pikmin are as cute and brave as ever. Sadly, the campaign ends very abruptly and the sense of adventure of exploration is suddenly cut short. To compensate for this, there are missions to collect fruit and defeat enemies that prolongue the experience, if you're into replaying levels and fighting bosses again. The foundation of the game is great, though, and I can't wait for the next Pikmin adventure!
