OBJECTION! But what was it so short?
Once again you follow Mr. Wright into a world where only justice can prevail and you are there to prove it. This game is no different. However you start off with a case set 6 years ago where Phoenix first meets his now-deceased mentor Mia in court.
I don't want to spoil all the plots for you so you'd have to find out yourself. But this game lacks the forensic investigation that the first one had and it is once again much too linear. Many times you will struggle to see which evidence truly contradicts the statement even though some other piece might seem to fit as well.
But what seems to set this game apart from all the other three is that it makes reference and flash backs about the past two games for those that have NOT played the first two or have forgotten. Edgeworth is still morbidly afraid of earthquakes and we find the missing person "Misty Fey". The old characters keep coming back and will just grow on you more.
The last case must be the biggest twist ever and it really does tie up everything nicely- even if all just seems to fantasy like. For Edgeworth fans; you'll enjoy the first part of the last case the most :)
Highly worth buying if you're a first timer- as you'd need not play the other two games to play this one. For fans- definitely worth it, even if it is just for the last case.
