The spiritual successor to Rare's Goldeneye 007.

Many still had nostalgia after the release of Goldeneye's 007. People thought that would they ever see another FPS from Rare after Rare turned down the offer to make another James Bond game. Well, they were all wrong, even me. Rare produce Pefect Dark abd it was given this name because all the missions are done on a full moon.

The game plays the same way as Goldeneye 007 but this game seems to give it an even better feeling because like when you shoot someone you get to hear them say 'I'm dying' or 'You b***h' and 'Oh my God, she got me'. Also if you get someone's gun they can start begging you please don't shoot or I was only doing my job.

The game also follows through missions and each mission has certain objectives to follow. The game was very well produced with great graphics too. Thes don't just look like planted on faces but real human being faces. The game has great guns too with some new ones. You can also unlock cheat codes like DK Mode in which every body, even you have big heads which makes it easier to kill people with headshots and one shot on the head and it's over for them. You can get a shield but no health supplies.

Lastly, the game has a very smooth frame rate and this makes it very easy and nice to play. The auto-target may feel abit too perfect but this can be removed. The difficuties get harder and the hardest is the 3rd level.

Rare made yet another great game for Nintendo 64 but too bad it was their last FPS, if not we might have had the FPS genre as one of the best genres out there. This may not be an official sequel to Goldeneye 007 but it is a spiritual successor to Goldeneye 007.
