This was the first game that I was really excited about playing. i'm a real big fan of Dynasty Warriors Devil May Cry and Tenchu. Naturally this seemed right up my ally. I figured this was a hack and slash game, but what I got was garbage served on a nice looking plate. First the good. The overall look is fine. The menus and music work well with the theme. The play mechanics were fine and the graphics are good. I also liked the power-up system where you unlock weapons and magic and items. The Bad. Really underdeveloped story. There is no depth to it. After the second level you will lose all motivation to follow this faceless voice talking to you. About half way through you feel like you have done nothing. It's just one stage after another of a little confusion and repetitive small levels. I could not finish this game because I was getting worried about my health and I could not stop thinking about what else eight dollars could buy me. If you want fulfillment at all, just save you time and play Devil May cry or Prince of Persia. Oh, before I'm done. Yes I like playing Dynasty Warriors. Not so much anymore, but at least I learned history with that series. This game makes me Stoopid.
